Stephen Corsini began to organize Ritz Fest after repeatedly hearing about suicide prevention and like many others, being touched by a death by suicide. He decided add to it his love of live music, and mix in The Jason Foundation’s mission to put an end to this silent epidemic. After starting with one band and one sponsor, Ritz Fest has morphed into a two-day annual event and he works to book acts, find sponsors, and procure items for our raffle and silent auction. When he’s not at the Ritz or at his day job in public education, he can be found throwing horseshoes, swimming, or enjoying food and fellowship. A former volunteer firefighter, Stephen encourages everyone to check their fire alarms and invest in a reflective house sign. He and his wife, Liz, enjoy the outdoors, love their son and his drumming, and appreciate everyone involved with Ritz Fest.
Newberrians are long familiar with Waldo's photography. Check out his Facebook page. There are great shots on there from around town AND from Ritz Fest '23!
Fin is our amazing sound technician.
The Newberry Community Players not only adopted Ritz Fest under their 501c3, they work our concession stand and run the box office.
Darren Walker was born a salesman. He hits the streets and is able to get amazing raffle and silent auction items. This is all between work and drumming with Five on Fire!
