Stephen Corsini began to organize Ritz Fest after repeatedly hearing Chris Reed & The Bad Kids state they were a suicide prevention band at every gig. He decided to take their message, add to it his love of live music, and mix in The Jason Foundation’s mission to raise awareness of this silent epidemic. After starting with one band and one sponsor, Ritz Fest has morphed into a two-day annual event and he works to book acts, find sponsors, and procure items for doorprizes and auction and other Ritz Fest Sponsored Events throughout the year. When he’s not at the Ritz or at his day job in public education, he can be found throwing horseshoes, swimming, or enjoying food and fellowship. A former volunteer firefighter, Stephen encourages everyone to check their fire alarms and invest in a reflective house sign. He and his wife, Liz, enjoy the outdoors, love their son and his drumming, and appreciate everyone involved with Ritz Fest.
